Post-doctoral Fellowship in Radiation Chemistry
Products Formation under Radiation in Super Critical Water (SCW)
The Laboratoire de Radiolyse (CEA/Saclay, Service de Chimie Moléculaire, France) is looking for qualified applicants for a postdoctoral position to conduct research in the area of radiation chemistry of water in supercritical conditions (T>374°C, P>25MPa). This research concerns the use of SCW in generation 4 of nuclear power plants. The position contains an important experimental part based on existing experimental setups.
The candidate must have a PhD in Physical Chemistry (preferentially some experience in radiation matter interactions). A solid background in physical chemistry and/or chemical analysis will be much appreciated.
The tenure of the Fellowship will be held on 1 year and is to be filled as soon as possible.
Grant: about 2000 euros/month
